Some businesses start with a plan. Ours started with a pair of shoes and a purse.
We traded the East Coast for the mountains and open skies of Colorado Springs. Drawn to the craftsmanship behind the luxury brands we loved, Elliot began learning leatherwork from the ground up. The first pieces he made were for Maria, and when people kept stopping her to ask where she got them, something clicked.
Rather than rush to scale, we did what felt right. We stayed small, stayed intentional, and focused on making leather journals beautifully by hand, each one with the same care and love that started it all.

We use Denver Side cowhide from Tandy Leather, right down the street, and select it hide by hide.
Made by hand
Each journal is cut, assembled and finished by hand in our basement workshop. No mass production, no shortcuts.

Nothing sits on a shelf waiting for you. We make yours after you order, so please allow 3-5 business days before it ships.
for the place we call home
Giving back is at the heart of what we do. Last year we supported a different nonprofit every month, because businesses thrive when their communities do.
This year our giving goes to the Garden of the Gods Foundation. Those red rocks and open skies are part of why we planted roots here, and supporting the foundation that protects them is our way of saying thank you.
