Denver Side cowhide
Every journal is crafted from Denver Side cowhide, a premium leather we source from Tandy Leather here in Colorado and hand-select hide by hide.
It has a naturally distressed look and a subtle pull-up effect, so the color shifts where the leather flexes and no two hides are exactly alike. The waxy finish makes it remarkably tough while staying soft and supple to the touch.
And it only gets better with time. Every scratch, crease and mark develops into a rich vintage patina that is entirely your own.

Leather is a natural material that ages beautifully. A little care keeps it looking its best for years.

- Avoid long stretches in direct sunlight.
- Use a leather conditioner now and then.
Natural variations in color, texture and surface marks are a hallmark of genuine leather and add to the character of every piece.
made to order
We cut, assemble and finish each journal by hand in our Colorado Springs workshop after you order. Please allow 3-5 business days before it ships; custom requests and busy seasons may take a little longer.
